This paper reviews the influence of neotantric practice on women in one of the neotantric groups. In the introduction it establishes the difference between religion and philosphy, to highlight the importance of spiritual experience in eastern philosophical systems. In the first chapters it focuses on tantric philosophy, Śākta tradition of worshiping different goddesses and the phenomenon of new religious movements, where it also defines neotantrism. The main body of thesis deals with the questions of sexuality, pleasure and orgasm in modern society, which creates a new therapeutic process and practice of well-being. The last part consists of fieldwork experience, where neotantric rituals are presented, as well as the collections of personal narratives of different women from the same neotantric group, where the author creates a synthesis of it's influence on their personal, intimate and sex lives.
