Analiza vpliva bolnišničnega informacijskega sistema BIRPIS21 na zdravstvene obravnave v izbrani splošni bolnišnici : diplomsko delo

Bolnišnični informacijski sistemi so vrsta informacijskih sistemov, brez katerih si težko predstavljamo delo sodobnih bolnišnic. Bolnišnični informacijskih sistem BIRPIS21, eden najbolj razširjenih v Sloveniji, je v uporabi tudi v izbrani splošni bolnišnici. Namen diplomskega dela je bilo analizirati in ugotoviti vpliv bolnišničnega informacijskega sistema BIRPIS21 na zdravstvene obravnave v Splošni bolnišnici Brežice. Pri metodologiji raziskovanja je bilo opravljenih pet intervjujev z zdravstvenimi administratorji. Vprašanja so bila odprtega tipa. Intervjuji so bili uspešno opravljeni. Z njimi smo pritrdilno odgovorili na zastavljeni raziskovalni vprašanji: 1. uporaba BIRPIS21 je izboljšala komunikacijo zdravstvenih delavcev in zdravstvenih administratorjev med potekom obravnave pacientov in 2. informacijski sistem vpliva na hitrejše delo zaposlenih. Poleg odgovorov na raziskovalni vprašanji smo identificirali tudi značilnosti informacijskega sistema BIRPIS21, ki jih zdravstveni administratorji dojemajo kot prednosti in slabosti. V okviru raziskave je bilo ugotovljeno, da ima informacijski sistem BIRPIS21 veliko dobrih funkcij, ki olajšajo vsakodnevno delo zdravstvenih administratorjev. Najboljša pridobitev, ki jo ima informacijski sistem BIRPIS21, je nedvomno funkcija, ki omogoča elektronski podpis izvidov pacientov, ki ga uporabljajo zdravniki. Na podlagi vseh pridobljenih rezultatov smo lahko podali tudi predloge, ki bi lahko pripomogli k izboljšavi informacijskega sistema BIRPIS21.

• Title: Analysis of the affect of BIRPIS21 hospital information system on medical treatments in a selected general hospital

Abstract

Hospital information systems are a type of information systems without which we can hardly imagine the work of modern hospitals. The hospital information system BIRPIS21 is one of the most used in Slovenia and is also the information system used in the selected general hospital. The aim of the thesis was to analyze and determine the influence of hospital’s information system BIRPIS21 on medical examinations at the General Hospital Brežice. In the research methodology, we conducted five open-ended interviews with health administrators, all of which were successful. These interviews enabled us to answer affirmatively to two research questions: 1. the use of BIRPIS21 improved communication between health professionals and health administrators during patient treatment and 2. the information system enables employees to work more efficiently. In addition to addressing the research questions, we identified the characteristics of the BIRPIS21 information system that health administrators perceive as strengths and weaknesses. As part of the research, we found that the BIRPIS21 information system offers numerous valuable features that streamline the daily tasks of healthcare administrators. The standout feature of the BIRPIS21 information system is undoubtedly its ability to facilitate electronic patient report signatures, a functionality highly utilized by doctors. Based on these findings, we were able to formulate recommendations aimed at enhancing the BIRPIS21 information system.
