The graduation thesis titled "Urban block typologies and parametric design: the New Belgrade case" deals with the integration of the built fabric of New Belgrade and Zemun, in the area of Rasadnik Bežanjijska kosa. The main focus is on morphology, built-up patterns and floor area ratio. Transect urbanism and parametric design are used in the creation of the new built fabric, with the help of evolutionary computing. The thesis results in six different scenarios that are critically evaluated in order to improve the existing urban design solutions. The thesis concludes with a visual placement of the developed built fabric using axonometric projections and situational displays. This allows a comprehensive understanding of the scenarios presented and their comparability. A critical evaluation of each scenario with comments contributes to the improvement of urban planning approaches in the selected location between New Belgrade and Zemun.
