The main objective of B. Sc. Thesis is to present the cold pressing process in more detail and to explain how it differs from the classical extrusion process. To this end, we reviewed the literature and described the two processes and the main differences between them, and compared some of the dog food produced with the cold pressing process with each other and with the dog food produced with the extrusion process. We found that the main differences between the two dog food production processes are the temperature and time required for production, which is one of the reasons for the better digestibility of nutrients from cold-pressed food. The selected dog foods were compared in terms of their chemical and raw material composition, and the results obtained were compared with the recommended standards for adult dogs. We found that there were no big differences in chemical composition between the cold-pressed dog foods and the extruded dog foods and all exceeded the recommended levels.
