Abstract
To vključuje razporeditev in dimenzioniranje ulic, stavb in programov, zlasti v nižjih nadstropjih stavb.

Title:Perception and well-being in open space : conceptual design of an urban neighbourhood Feyenoord, Rotterdam
Abstract:
The thesis studies the human perception of open space, presents different principles of open space design, and explores their impact on human well-being. In the theoretical part, the thesis refers to the literature, where authors describe several principles for designing spaces that respond to human needs in space and creating a sense of community. Principles for designing open spaces encourage social interaction and invite residents to use them. In the project part, the thesis tackles the problem of a degraded area in the center of Rotterdam, more specifically the Feyenoord area. In the Feyenoord area, a new neighborhood is therefore designed according to the principles addressed in the theoretical part. Perception at eye level, or how we perceive space when we walk through it, plays a key role in the composition of the conceptual design of the urban neighborhood. This includes th
