Every urbanised city needs a transport strategy to ensure a quality lifestyle, safety and meeting the daily needs of residents. The diploma thesis deals with the municipality of Sarajevo. An integrated transport strategy for the city is proposed. The existing state of motorized and non-motorized traffic was analyzed. After identifying the problems for each mode of transport, various modernized solutions have been proposed, which would certainly improve the current situation in Sarajevo. The solutions were divided into four pillars of the transport strategy, namely improving conditions for pedestrians, cyclists, public transport and reducing passenger cars. I have tried to find the most sensibly feasible measures. Finally, it sets out the conclusions on the entire reading and an opinion on which solution would be most appropriate for the site under consideration.
