In our thesis, we designed a bed that is also a piece of fitness equipment on which bod-yweight exercises can be performed along the lines of Olympic gymnastics disciplines. The thesis shows an overview of the offer on the market in the field of gymnastic furni-ture, as well as the development and production of a prototype. The design of the bed with gymnastics equipment originates from the idea that the entire bed structure is clamped to wall bars and the individual gymnastics elements can be adjusted to the de-sired width and height. Therefore, it was necessary to avoid fixed connections and to de-sign appropriate fittings for assembly. The final design model in SolidWorks was also created and tested in practice. Exercises that can be performed on a gym bed were speci-fied, and product improvements were suggested based on a practical testing of the gym bed.
