Introduction: Occupational therapy is a medical profession, which increasingly focuses more time and attention to free time and social inclusion of individuals. Intention: Intention of paper is qualitative research, more exactly a singular case study of the occupational therapy treatment of a user with intellectual disability, who is included in the service of social integration of the disabled "S podporo zmorem vse" which is carried out by the Care Work Center Tončke Hočevar. Method: A singular case study was conducted based on the Human Occupation Model and the Occupational Therapy Process of the American Occupational Therapist Association. The research included a 35-year-old user with a moderate intellectual disability. To gain insight into the situation and make it easier to set goals, we used various assessment instruments that helped us through the occupational therapy process, which includes evaluation, treatment and outcome. The task of the occupational therapist in the occupational therapy treatment was as a support person, involved in the user's chosen free time occupations, provide her with support in the dilemmas she encounters, motivate, and educate her in new or previously known occupations of social inclusion in her home environment, which is already a primary role of occupational therapist in occupational therapy. The time frame of occupational therapy treatment was six months. Results: At final assessment, there was an improvement in performance and satisfaction with performance on the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure in making dessert and walking. There was also greater satisfaction in the psychological and social sphere of free time and higher general satisfaction in life. The occupation pattern and motivation improved during the actual implementation and inclusion. In addition to the leisure activities that she had already carried out in the past and which she re-established during the proceedings; the user also re-established some new leisure activities. Discussion and conclusion: The implemented occupational therapy treatment, based on the user, was effective. All the set goals were achieved.
