Based on the water phase diagram it is theoretically possible to freeze water at room
temperature with sufficiently high pressure. The field of extreme environments and the
technologies developing there allow us to work with a sufficiently high pressure. In this
work, we have presented the theoretical background of this problem and analysed the
technologies, processes and materials that would make this possible. We have also
conducted an analysis of the components that can work under these conditions: ultra-high
pressure pumps, valves, hydraulic cylinders, lubrication systems and seals. The results
showed that the components necessary for the operation of the hydraulic system are present,
with which it is possible to freeze water at room temperature and high pressure.
