Additive technologies are gaining on the importance very quickly in the world of industry. To convert a 3D model into a specific software format, it requires various post-processors, which are usually only available with a leased license. This thesis focused on the development of a post-processor for wire arc additive manufacturing using ABB robotic manipulator. The post-processor development process involves parsing the G-code, transforming certain input parameters, and then implementing it into the correct form of the ABB robot controller programming language, RAPID. We experimentally set all the parameters of the input code, analyse it and, with the help of the post-processor, finally test the generated output code and compare the results with the data in the program. We found that the developed post-processor allows successful conversion of g-code into the Rapid programming language and thus successful wire arc additive manufacturing.
