The final thesis will deal with the optimization of the boom on a baggage conveyor. The existing product has to be optimized in order to use as little material as possible and
to reduce production costs. In addition, it is desirable to fully electrify the vehicle to keep up with current trends. In the context of the thesis, the problem was approached by dividing the bridge into individual components, for which concepts were formed using a morphological matrix and then checked for their suitability. We selected the appropriate motor to drive the conveyor belt, performed a static check of the structure, and dimensioned the lift actuators.
