While attending the Faculty of Social Work and performing internships at various institutions, I encountered violence in various fields many times. I learned how social work enters the world of violence and what are the ways of working in this field. But since I have always been attracted to working with young people, peer violence also attracted me the most. That's why I decided that I want to research this topic and find answers to whether peer violence is really that widespread in my environment, and above all, what is the role and response of professors and professionals when they encounter peer violence. After reading the literature, I directed my focus on high school students, as very little research touches on them, even though violence also occurs in high schools. Many times, even more than in primary schools.
The research is quantitative. For the research, I used questionnaires prepared in advance, which I distributed among the 3rd year of the high school program and the preschool education program at Ormož Gymnasium and Gymnasium Franca Miklošica Ljutomer.
