Abstract
Ker meritve hrupa neobremenjenega elektromotorja niso dober pokazatelj hrupa obremenjenega izdelka na aplikaciji, smo zasnovali merilni sistem za meritve hrupa obremenjenega elektromotorja. Mehansko smo ga obremenili preko jermenskega gonila s servo motorjem in njegovo raven zvočne moči primerjali z ravnjo zvočne moči električno preobremenjenega elektromotorja.

Title:Measurement setup for noise characterization of a loaded electric motor
Abstract:
Noise measurements of an unloaded electric motor are not sufficient noise indicators of a loaded product on an application. For this purpose, we have designed a measurement setup for noise characterization of a loaded electric motor. It was mechanically loaded with a belt drive, connected to a servo motor. Its sound power level was compared to the sound power level of an electrically overloaded electric motor. The sound power was evaluated from sound pressure measurements with 20 microphones in an anechoic chamber. We concluded that the measurement system is not suitable for evaluating the sound power of the electric motor itself, but it is useful for comparing noise of different samples of loaded electric motors.
