The task consists of an aerodynamic analysis for the given aerodynamic design of a single-engine, four-seat aircraft of classical aerodynamic configuration. In the introduction we presented our objectives and the requirements given by our mentor. We then briefly introduced the important theoretical background needed to understand and produce aerodynamic analyses. We also presented all the data given for our aircraft, as well as the parts and assemblies that will be discussed separately in the results. With the given design of a single-engine, four-seat aircraft, we first created a 3D model in SolidWorks, which we used for the aerodynamic analyses. The aerodynamic analyses were performed using the available software XFLR5, OpenVSP and Ansys. For the analyses, we considered a symmetrical circulation and a model of the aircraft without propeller and landing gear. The results obtained were compared with each other and finally conclusions and possible improvements were given.
