The thesis deals with intralogistics in a modern manufacturing company. The main topic was the issue of installing a crane with a capacity of 5 kN. Three concepts have been developed, among which we have chosen the most suitable one, i.e. a double girder bridge crane, where the trolley with a hoist runs along the main girders of the bridge. A bridge crane structure has been designed and further optimized. A thorough strength check of the structure of the building’s roof with a crane track attached and the bridge crane suspended has been conducted. The analysis takes into account all the loads caused by the crane and its operation, as well as the dead weight of the roof structure, including insulation and roof covering, and the additional loads caused by wind and snow. The roof structure has been reinforced and optimized to withstand all the additional loads that would be generated by the installation and use of the crane.
