The BA thesis deals with the wider field of designing flexible visual systems and their generative potential. Here we are interested in how to use these systems to generate the whole set of solutions within the given parameters and how this affects the design process. In the first part of the thesis we analyzed relevant theoretical and practical works and designed a tool for automated drawing based on these findings. We subsequently used this tool to design a typeface. This process was started by defining the basic building blocks and developing a grid, which we then used to generate a set of characters. In the final phase we chose the appropriate ones for the typeface.
