Abstract
Namen magistrske naloge je ustvariti zasnovo za geografsko bralno značko, ki bi jo izvajali v osnovnih šolah po Sloveniji. S tem bi učenci širili geografsko obzorje ter hkrati izboljševali bralne zmožnosti. Magistrsko delo je razdeljeno na teoretični, empirični in aplikativni del. V teoretičnem delu so opredeljeni pojmi branje, bralna motivacija in bralna pismenost. Podana je zgodovina bralne značke ter njen pomen za učence. V navezavi na učni načrt je v empiričnem delu izdelan seznam priporočene literature za geografsko bralno značko, ki vsebuje literarna in strokovna dela. Za pomoč mentorjem geografske bralne značke so v aplikativnem delu izdelani tudi učni listi za preverjanje učenčevega poznavanja prebrane knjige. Izvedeni so bili polstrukturirani intervjuji, ki so pripomogli k razumevanju strokovnega pogleda na izvajanje geografske bralne značke. Opravljeni so bili z učiteljema geografije, knjižničarko ter predmetno svetovalko, ki so idejo o geografski bralni znački pohvalili ter podali svoja mnenja in izboljšave glede same izvedbe bralne značke.

Title:Geography Reading badge
Abstract:
The aim of the master's thesis is to create a design for a Geography Reading Badge to be implemented in primary schools across Slovenia. This would broaden students' geographical horizons while improving their reading skills. The master thesis is divided into theoretical, empirical and applied parts. Part one defines the concepts of reading, reading motivation and reading literacy. The history of the Reading Badge and its importance for students is given. A list of recommended literature for the Geography Reading Badge, including literary and professional works, is drawn up in connection with the curriculum. To help the Geography Reading Badge tutors, there are also worksheets to check students' knowledge of the books they have read. Semi-structured interviews were conducted to understand the professional perspective on the implementation of the Geography Reading Badge. They were conducted with the geography teachers, the librarian and the subject advisor, who praised the idea of a geography reading badge and gave their opinions and improvements on the implementation of the badge.
