Abstract
V diplomskem delu je opisan razvoj in izdelava demonstracijskega nadzornega sistema na področju ogrevanja, prezračevanja in hlajenja (HVAC), za naprave na različnih lokacijah. Demonstracija je narejena za programljive logične krmilnike (PLK) c.pCO podjetja Carel, kjer v konkretnem primeru PLK-ja krmilita konvektor in klimat. Predstavljena sta dva primera podobnih SCADA sistemov na trgu. Glavni problem je komunikacija med krmilniki in strežnikom Atvise, kjer je nadzorni sistem. Raziskanih je nekaj možnosti za komunikacijo med strežnikom in krmilniki. Rešitev je izvedena z mikroračunalnikom Raspberry Pi, na katerem se izvaja program, napisan v programskem jeziku python. Program s PLK-ji komunicira prek ethernet povezave v lokalnem omrežju (LAN) z uporabo protokola Modbus TCP in nato pretvori podatke v OPC UA standard. Zatem jih pošlje prek interneta do strežnika Atvise. Do nadzornega sistema se dostopa prek brskalnika. V programu Atvise builder je izdelan preprost in pregleden HMI, ki omogoča hiter vpogled v stanje povezanih naprav. Demonstracijski nadzorni sistem je preizkušen in zanesljivo deluje prek interneta. Rešitev omogoča lažji nadzor nad oddaljenimi HVAC napravami.

Title:Design of a supervisory system for smaller facilities
Abstract:
The thesis addresses development of a supervisory system for HVAC systems on different locations. Demonstration is made for PLCs c.pCO produced by Carel. The PLCs control the convector and the air handling unit. Two similar SCADA systems available on the market are described. The main problem is the communication between the PLCs and the server, that hosts the supervisory system. The diploma thesis explores a few options for communication. The solution is made with microcomputer Raspberry Pi, which runs a program written in python programming language. The program communicates with PLCs using Modbus TCP protocol over LAN. It translates information gathered from PLCs to OPC UA standard. Then it sends the information over the Internet to the Atvise server. The supervisory system is accessed by internet browser. The HMI is made in Atvise builder. It is made to be simple and easy to use with the intention to quickly and clearly overview the state of connected devices. The supervisory system operates reliably over the internet. The solution enables easier control over remote HVAC devices.
