Dwellings in shape of container are very popular because of its simple transport and fast placement. Based on market overview we found out that because of simple design dwellings have some downsides like thermal bridges and use of less proper materials. A new design of mobile dwellings without a metal substructure and design of innovative corner joints between sandwich panels, which enables to make dwellings without the thermal bridges, is presented in the master thesis. Developed dwelling is designed to bear the standard wind and snow loadings. The possibility of stacking several containers on top of each other is also considered. Verification was carried out by analysing corner joints and the whole structure by means of FEM model. The results showed that developed dwelling resists to all assumed loading successfully.
