The thesis presents the process of translating a subprogram for schematic capture Eeschema from a software suite called KiCad. The first step in the process describes the establishment of an environment for viewing, editing, and computing the source code of the subprogram, which will be connected to learning how to use platforms GitHub and GitLab. The second step is dedicated to learning about and describing the process of using a software suite for editing language translations called PoEdit which will be the centre of the translating process. The third step is the actual translating process which will include the method of obtaining translations of various electrotechnical elements and the search for a consensus of various experts when translating technical terms.
If I summarize the central issue of subprogram translation, I find that it is primarily a battle between a literal translation, i.e. the use of already existing translations of words, and between a translation that would describe as best as possible where the word can be used.
