In this master thesis, the visual identity of the user interface for linking recipes from different websites and blogs where the creators publish recipes was created.
The theoretical part describes the development of websites over time and the beginnings and development of websites and blogs with recipes up to the present day. First, the beginnings of the internet and its rapid development up to the first food blogs and recipe websites are described, followed by the presentation of four different food websites. Then the regularities in the design of user interfaces and the presentation of the use of buttons, photos (images) and colours on screens were described.
In the experimental part, a research was conducted to find out what users' needs are regarding the images of websites with recipes and food blogs, and what the opinion of the creators of such websites is regarding the use of elements such as colours, photos and the form and amount of text. Based on the results obtained, we created a user interface in the form of a website that makes it easier for the user to find recipes from different websites through a single search engine that links them together.
During the research, it was found that the World Wide Web is saturated with a multitude of websites with recipes and food blogs that differ from each other in terms of the use of colours, fonts and photos, but on the other hand use more or less similar recipe layouts. It was also found that users would find an interface for linking recipes interesting, while creators generally feel that they do not fully trust the interface.
