In the production of glass-reinforced polyester tubes on machines for continuous filament winding, up to 385 threads are wound simultaneously on the mandrel. Currently, the force in the threads is only managed by tensioners that tension all the threads at once, but which do not perform the function of uniform and constant individual thread tension. Glass-reinforced polyester tubes, their production on continuous filament winding machines, glass fibers and the use of the Eitelwein equasion for threads tensioning are presented. Using the Solidworks program, we designed a dynamic tensioner, placed it in the current system and performed calculations on it. We determined two static and one dynamic component and performed calculations in eleven points of the established coordinate system. For each point, we determined the force required to balance the dynamic component in it. The designed dynamic tensioner is able to balance disturbances in the range of input force in the threads from 1.41 N to 13.73 N. We have achieved the desired that the dynamic tensioner increases the force in the threads according to the size of the input force of the threads, it increases the smaller input force more than it increases greater input force.
