The thesis presents the process of creating a French-Slovene glossary of paragliding. The idea to collect the terminology from this field stems from the fact that this type of work has not yet been done, especially in the case of Slovene. The best sort of material that we could find for gathering the nomenclature were instructional manuals for paragliding, as they also contain a lot of information on the terms and can help when drafting definitions. The theoretical part presents terminology and its bilingual aspect, as well as lexicography and dictionaries. This is followed by the presentation of paragliding and everything that the field covers. Afterwards, we present our methodology. This corresponds to the part about different types of dictionaries. Here we present our decision whether the glossary will be monolingual or bilingual, extensive or limited, descriptive or normative, general or specialized, it is also necessary to determine the order of entries. The empirical part presents the problems that were encountered while creating the glossary, especially when searching for equivalent terms. The glossary is contained in the appendix of this thesis.
