Pregled in primerjava usposabljanj za učitelja surfanja po državah v Evropi : magistrsko delo

V magistrskem delu je predstavljen sistem usposabljanj za učenje surfanja v Sloveniji in primerjava le-tega z usposabljanji različnih držav EU ter Mednarodne surf zveze (ISA). Zanimale so nas razlike in podobnosti na različnih stopnjah usposabljanj. Primerjali smo trajanje usposabljanj, število teoretičnih in praktičnih vsebin ter predmetnike na posamezni stopnji usposabljanja. Podatke smo pridobili s pomočjo vprašalnika, ki smo ga posredovali različnim državam EU, odgovore pa smo dobili od devetih držav – Avstrije, Belgije, Češke, Danske, Norveške, Poljske, Portugalske, Španije in Švice. Poleg naštetih držav smo v raziskavo vključili tudi Francijo in Mednarodno surf zvezo. Slovenski program usposabljanja smo primerjali z usposabljanji Avstrije, Belgije, Danske, Portugalske, Španije in Mednarodne surf zveze, ostalih držav pa v primerjavo nismo vključili, saj ne nudijo lastnih programov usposabljanj za učenje surfanja. Ugotovili smo, da se programi usposabljanj razlikujejo od države do države in da so razlike precej velike. Rezultati so pokazali, da je slovenski program usposabljanja tako na prvi, kot na drugi stopnji v primerjavi z ostalimi državami EU nekoliko bolj obsežen, vendar pa relativno primerljiv. Menimo, da z njim udeleženci pridobijo ustrezno strokovno usposobljenost za poučevanje osnov surfanja.

• Title: Overview and comparison of coaching programs for surfing around Europe

Abstract

The master's thesis presents the system of surfing coaching programs in Slovenia and its comparison to the coaching programs of different EU countries and the International Surfing Association (ISA). We were interested in the differences and similarities at different levels of coaching programs. We compared the duration of the programs, the quantitative data of theoretical and practical content, and the syllabus at each level of coaching programs. The data was collected by a questionnaire sent to different EU countries and responses were received from nine countries – Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland. In addition to these countries, France and the International Surfing Association were included in the research. Slovenian coaching programs were compared with those of Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Portugal, Spain, and the International Surfing Association, while the other aforementioned countries were not included in the comparison as they do not offer their own surfing coaching programs. We found that coaching programs vary from country to country and that the differences are quite significant. The results showed that the Slovenian coaching program (both levels 1 and 2) is slightly more extensive than in other EU countries, but relatively comparable. It provides the participants with adequete professional qualifications to teach the basics of surfing.
