The basic topic of the current diploma thesis is traffic control in the local area
network in a way without additional configuration of connected devices. There is a lot of software available that allows various restrictions on access to web content, but it is mostly designed in such a way that users can avoid it, since this equipment is configured on the user's devices. Another option is to buy expensive routers that have additional local traffic control options. We solve the weaknesses described in the thesis with the help of a purpose-built device based on a Raspberry Pi mini-computer. A device that is directly connected to the local network without additional configuration can record what is happening on the network, but due to its properties it is invisible to other connected devices and cannot be disabled.
