The thesis focuses on researching articles in selected Ljubljana newspapers that were published after the signing of the Treaty of Rapallo and before the signing of the Treaty of Rome, between 1920 and 1924, and in which the city of Postojna is mentioned. From each political camp, the newspaper that was most read at the time and that was published throughout the period under consideration was selected. From the conservative camp, the newspaper Slovenec, from the liberal camp the newspaper Jutro, and from the workers' camp, the newspapers Naprej, Socialist and Rdeči prapor were selected due to the few articles dealing with the mentioned topic. For better transparency, the articles were divided by years and according to the content of the articles: politics and administration, fascism and the Slovenian national question, economy, culture and education, and the crime section.
