Since the emergence of smart mobile devices, there are more and more mobile applications on the market, from which users primarily expect a good user experience. The thesis therefore first presents the difference between the concepts of human-computer interaction (HCI) and user experience (UX) and its development. Successful app are primarily achieved through testing and constant feedback from users by the developers. For this purpose, questionnaires are created that measure the user experience in a systematic way. In the thesis, we focus on the user experience of mobile applications. We are interested in whether there is already a systematized questionnaire for measuring user experience for mobile applications and what are the standards of such a questionnaire.
The aim of the research was to create a questionnaire for evaluating the user experience of mobile applications and to compare it with other existing and standardized questionnaires. We then tested the developed questionnaire in a user study, in which we measured the user experience of the popular Duolingo mobile application.
A total of 45 participants (N = 3 * 15) participated in the study. Each participant had to fill in one of the selected questionnaires to measure user experience. We later compared the results. They showed that the questionnaire created in this way and the standards are comparable, but the questionnaire created needs corrections..
