Within the scope of thesis, we studied the influence of the curing agent ratio and the curing temperature on the mechanical properties of polydimethylesiloxane. The study was conducted with thermal and rheological analysis. Moreover, the mechanical properties were measured with nanoindentation. The results showed that mechanical properties of polydimethylsiloxane do not change significantly with increasing curing temperature. However, temperature significantly reduces curing time. On the other hand, the crosslinking ratio has a profound effect on the mechanical properties, where elastic modulus exhibits nonmonotonical behavior with peak at 10:1.
