The degree paper is mainly focused on transcription of four recordings, documented by Milko Matičetov in late sixties of the past century in Slovenian region Gorenjska. Recordings contain meeting with Tine Capuder – Oštirjev from Škocjan and material, assembled for television show on Peter Jakelj – Smerinjekov. The opening chapter is discussing the matters and methods of folklore studies, then the overview of the past research in Gorenjska field is given. This chapter is followed by analysis of recordings. The context of folklore meetings is included by discussing the roles of participants, and a short introduction to the dialect of the main two storytellers. Each recording is then described in detail according to its own specifications. Rhythm of narration, tone colour, comparison between different versions and role of listeners are questions that are leading into further research.
