Corporate graphic design plays an important role in company's identity and is also used for distinguishing a certain company among others. It covers all the visual elements with which the company advertises and communicates with customers.
In the diploma work, we created a corporate graphic design for beauty salon BeauTina, which provides services such as manicures, pedicures and make-up. In the theoretical part, we defined the meaning of a corporate graphic design and described the process of creating a corporate graphic design. We presented the stages of market analysis and examined the literature on color theory and guidelines in typography. This section is concluded with focusing on the key features of logos and corporate design manual.
In the experimental part, we presented the software we used to design the elements of the corporate graphic design. When designing the corporate graphic design, we first defined the color palette and fonts used, and then designed the logo, business card, letterhead, price list and gift card. We also described a survey questionnaire, which asked the target group of the salon about the liking of the corporate graphic design and about their opinion on the appearance and importance of individual products.
In the results of the diploma work, we first presented the results of market analysis, where we compared different beauty salons. We focused on reviewing their corporate graphic design, online presence, ways of communicating and the services they offer. In the results, we then presented all the designed elements of the corporate graphic design. We presented the results of the survey and commented on the success of the design.
