Bronze is used as material to produce casting tools or tools for injecting melding when faster and more efficient heat dissipation is required. Recently, additive technologies are gaining importance in the manufacturing of various tools. Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) enables also the production of multi-material products. The advantages of this can be faster production and lower consumption of energy and materials, which can save time and production costs. As part of the task, WAAM of CuAl8 was done on a tool insert made of maraging steel using a Selective Laser Melting (SLM). An experimental plan of WAAM was prepared, where temperature and WAAM parameters were monitored during processing. A calculation of technological values and production costs was done and analyzed. It was found that the WAAM process is successfully done if the minimal inter-layer temperature is between 220 and 300 °C. At very high temperatures, excessive overheating of the product is done, which promotes spillage of the deposited material
