This diploma thesis presents the storage of hazardous explosive materials. The theoretical part describes their properties and gives concrete examples of different types of explosive materials, such as: explosives, gunpowder, explosives-filled products, pyrotechnic compositions and pyrotechnic articles. It then presents how the basic legal acts, the Explosive Substances and Pyrotechnic Products Act (ZEPI) and the European Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), regulate the conditions for carrying out activities in the production and trade of explosives, as well as the process of transporting such cargo. It is followed by a presentation of the basics of storage and the classification of warehouses according to the type of explosives stored, along with the description of the equipment for storage of explosives. Then, the packaging for the storage of explosives and hazard labels are mentioned. The diploma thesis reveals which vehicles are used to transport explosives, what their equipment is, how the vehicles are marked and how one can act in the event of an accident.
The practical part shows a demonstration of ammunition transportation through the stages of preparation of transport, implementation of transport and completion of transport.
