Abstract
Kislinsko-bazno ravnotežje in vzdrževanje homeostaze v telesu je življenjskega pomena. Telesne tekočine imajo različne vrednosti pH, ki so uravnavane s pufri ter z izmenjevanjem kislin in baz preko ledvic, respiratornega sistema (pljuč) in jeter. V magistrski nalogi smo proučili vplive posameznih procesov na uravnavanje kislinsko-baznega ravnotežja. Proučili smo tudi vpliv bolezenskih stanj, starosti in zaužite hrane na to ravnotežje ter pregledali uporabo zdravil in neregistriranih pripravkov za vzdrževanje kislinsko-baznega ravnotežja in razkisanost telesa. Ugotovili smo, da je zmotno razmišljanje, da lahko z zaužito hrano vplivamo na pH krvi oziroma preprečujemo in zdravimo »zakisanost telesa«, pač pa s prehrano vplivamo na ravnotežje elektrolitov in pH seča. S starostjo se koncentracije posameznih ionov spreminjajo, metabolna acidoza je bolj izražena. Bolezenska stanja v telesu pogosto povzročijo motnje v kislinsko-baznem ravnotežju. Zdravila za uravnavanje kislinsko-baznega ravnotežja uravnavajo koncentracije elektrolitov. Na trgu so prisotni tudi neregistrirani izdelki za uravnavanje kislinsko-baznega ravnotežja, ki pa nimajo ustreznega želenega učinka na ravnotežje.

Title:Literature review and data analysis of medications regualting acido-basic equilibrium in the body
Abstract:
Acido-basic equilibrium and maintenance of homeostasis is essential for life in the body. Body fluids have different pH values, which are regulated with buffers and with exchanging acid and base with kidney, respiratory system (lung) and liver. The effects of individual processes on the regulation of acido-basic equilibrium were studied in the master thesis. The impact of disease states, age and food intake on equilibrium were also studied and in addition, the use of medicines and unregistered preparations for acido-basic equilibrium maintenance and body deacidifying was reviewed. We have found that the diet does not influence the pH of the blood or prevent and treat »acidity of the body«. On the other hand, diet can affect electrolyte balance and the pH of urine. Concentrations of ions are changing with aging and metabolic acidosis is more pronounced. Diseases often disrupt the acido-basic equilibrium in the body. Medications for regulation of acido-basic equilibrium regulate electrolyte concentrations. We also found unregistered preparations meant for regulating acido-basic equilibrium on the market but in reality, they have no effect on the equilibrium.
