Abstract
V času raziskave smo merili parametre: (1) število dnevnih korakov, (2) aktivno porabljene kalorije, (3) čas spanca, (4) delež telesne maščobe in (5) skupno telesno maso. Podatke smo statistično obdelali v programu SPSS.

Title:Effect of Intervention "Active wristband" on Daily Expenditure of Employees
Abstract:
Sedentary workplace effects everyday behaviour of workers and is becoming huge public health burden. With this masters thesis we wanted to test the efficiency of individual counselling intervention with the combination of activity tracker. Study includes 33 office workers, average age of 40 (±8) years without major health concerns. Every participant received activity tracker for the 6 week trial period. 16 participants of the experimental group were also a part of counselling intervention. This individual session included initial assessment, individual goal setting, physical activity guidelines and results monitoring. During the trial period we assessed following parameters: (1) daily steps count, (2) active calories, (3) sleep duration, (4) body fat percent, (5) total body mass. We analysed the data with SPSS program and tested the effects of the intervention with two factor analysis of variance. Results were interpreted as statistical significant, if the p-number was less than 5%. Based on the data from activity tracker we found, that intervention with additional counselling had positive effect on daily step count (+1413 steps, p = 0,023). Additionally we saw effect on higher expenditure of active calories (+82 kcal, p = 0,079) and body fat reduction (-0,8%, p = 0,026). We did not see a significant effect on sleep duration or total body mass. Based on results we claim that workplace health programme, combining multiple interventions can be successful on everyday activity and behaviour change in office workers.
