Abstract
V magistrskem delu je opisan razvoj programske opreme, ki zaznava vhodni kot bowling krogle v trenutku, ko se le-ta dotakne kegljev, ter ugotavlja, ali je podrtih vseh deset kegljev. Zajem posnetkov metov je izveden s kamero GoPro Hero Session 4. Program je napisan v programskem jeziku Python in razvit v integriranem razvojnem okolju (ang. Integrated development environment, IDE) PyCharm. Celoten postopek določanja območja steze in zaznavanja krogle na posnetku je izveden samodejno. Namen izvedenega sistema je nudenje povratne informacije igralcu za korekcijo metov s ciljem večati verjetnost podrtja vseh kegljev. Delovanja programa smo potrdili z mnenjem slovenskega profesionalnega bowling igralca Anžeta Grabrijana.

Title:Computer vision analysis of a bowling shot
Abstract:
In this Master’s thesis, the development of software which recognises the angle of entry of a bowling bowl in the moment it touches the pins, and which determines whether all ten pins have been knocked down, is described. The shots are recorded with a GoPro Hero Session 4 camera. The software is scripted in the Python programming language and developed in an integrated development environment (IDE), PyCharm. The entire process of determining the area of the bowling lane, as well recognising the bowling ball in the recording is executed automatically. The purpose of the developed system is giving feedback to the player for shot correction, with the goal of increasing the probability of knocking down all the pins. The running of the software was confirmed by the opinion of a Slovenian professional bowler, Anže Grabrijan.
