More and more companies employ the use of the Simulink programme, which is a part of programme environment Matlab, to solve and plan engineering systems. The programme is
used to develop models in which we can simulate reality and find optimal solutions for the later realisation of the system. Our basis was an already made model of cooling system, used to cool electric components, which allows us to monitor the temperature in relation to various parameters. We made a model, which allows us to predict coefficient of thermal conductivity and the size of the pump based on the decrease of pressure in the components of cooling system of an electric car. We further compared results of simulations with experimental results, where we measured temperature and pressure before and after each component.
