Quality assurance problems are generally caused by high variability of manual assembling process. Higher repeatability, quality, less scrap and stable process could be achieved with automated assembly line of final product. We analysed automated assembly line by individual workstations and the sources of variability due to which poor quality is still present. We have also analysed different quality assurance mechanisms and control devices, included in automated line.

Assembly forces have been tested and measured as base to choose appropriate pneumatic and robotic components for assembly line. Analysis results shows that quality assurance at stations A04 and A05 is still not achieved. Due to this results, proposals for improvements are given.
