Abstract
Magistrsko delo proučuje področje telvizijskih vsebin in medije v službi javnosti. Avtorico zanima, v kakšnem odnosu so ideje inovacijskega novinarstva z uveljavljeno epistemologijo novinarstva kot oblike in produkcije vednosti. Novinarji s poročanjem krojijo podobo realnosti za javnost in igrajo vlogo posrednikov med tehnološkimi in inovacijskimi sistemi ter javnostjo. Sodeč po opisanem konceptu oddaje je tudi v oddaji Prava ideja na RTV Slovenija vloga novinarja prenos informacij s področja inovacij, tehnologije in znanosti v sfero javnosti. Inovacijsko novinarstvo je posvečeno predstavljanju novih idej trgu (Nordfors idr., 2006), učinek, ki ga bo tovrstno novinarstvo imelo na občinstvo in javnost, pa je odvisno predvsem od načina, na katerega je uporabljeno, v katerem mediju in s kakšnim namenom. Skozi Ekströmovo epistemologijo televizijskega novinarstva, avtorica raziskuje, kako se ideja inovacijskega novinarstva odraža v obliki in načinu produkcije vsebin v oddaji Prava ideja. V tem kontekstu avtorica ugotavlja tudi, kako se skozi obliko in produkcijo vednosti oddaje Prava ideja legtimira vednost in odraža ideja javne službe na področju medijev. Javna radiotelevizija ima namreč odgovornost do javnosti, dolžnost zagotavljanja enakih možnosti za vse in služenje javnemu interesu. Kot se v magistrskem delu, skozi študijo primera, izkaže, je največji izziv javnih medijev ravno iskanje ravnovesja med všečnostjo na eni strani in profesionalnostvo oz. strokovnostjo na drugi.

Title:Innovation journalism on television Slovenija: a case study of the show The right idea : magistrsko delo
Abstract:
The master's thesis studies the field of television content and media in the service of the public. The author is interested in the relationship between the ideas of innovation journalism and the established epistemology of journalism, as a form and production of knowledge. Journalists shape the image of reality for the public and play the role of intermediaries between technological and innovation systems and the public. Judging by the described concept of the show, the role of a journalist in the show Prava ideja on RTV Slovenia, is to transfer information from the field of innovation, technology and science to the public sphere. The role of innovation journalism is to present new ideas to the market (Nordfors et al., 2006), and the effect that such journalism will have on the audience and the public depends mainly on the way it is used, in which medium and for what purpose. Through Ekström's epistemology of television journalism, the author explores how the idea of innovation journalism is reflected in the form and manner of content production in the show Prava ideja. In this context, the author also finds out how knowledge is legitimized, through the form and production of knowledge of the show Prava ideja and how the idea of public service in the field of media is reflected. Public service broadcasting has a responsibility to the public, a duty to ensure equal opportunities for all and to serve the public interest. As it turns out in the master's thesis, through a case study, the biggest challenge of the public media right now is to find a balance between the likeability on the one hand and professionalism on the other hand.
