The main goal of this thesis was to develop a fitness device that uses a hydraulic system instead of steel weights. Secondly, our goal was for the hydraulic device to have the same functional capabilities as a conventional device. During the design process, we presented a number of possible designs and solutions that met our criteria. We decided on the most suitable concept and developed it. The device was tested and the basic functions matched. However, some opportunities for improvement were identified that could be implemented in the future.
