The master's thesis presents the construction of a test rig for torque sensors of electric bicycles. There is a need for repeatable and reliable prototype testing in the development phase of this sensor. In the thesis, we first developed detailed requirements for the test rig, taking into account the known limitations and requirements, that the sensor must meet. We developed several test rig concepts and after technical and economical evaluation, we selected the most suitable concept. We made a detailed model of the test rig and selected appropriate standard components. The test rig will thus enable dynamic testing of the sensor at different speed, load and temperature conditions. Finally, we tested the first prototypes of the sensor at a temporary test rig. The first results show good dynamic response of the sensor and its insensitivity to temperature.
