Choosing a logo is important for any business, whether small or large, as logos represent and identify them to consumers. With a good logo, a company can gain greater visibility and expand its market. Unfortunately, there are many companies in the world that have outdated logos or don’t even have them. Therefore in the diploma thesis there will be presented the theory and process of making the logo, which will be made for the car company KFZ Service Donschachner GmbH.
The purpose of the diploma theasis was to create a logo for the company that will be durable and will represent the basis on which the company will build its image. The logo was implemented in the basic elements of corporate identity (CGP for short), such as business cards, various office stationery, car advertising graphics, etc. In addition to the production of the logo, a new name was chosen for the company, which will be used together with the created logo. The production took into account the client’s wishes, his opinion, style and vision, as well as the opinions of potential customers.
The diploma thesis is divided into theoretical and experimental part. They are in the theoretical part
examined the definition of the concept of logo, the type of logos, the rules of making logos and the presentation of the logo to the client. In the experimental part, the procedures of making the name, the procedures of making the logo, the presentation of intermediate steps to the client and the client’s opinions are studied.
The aim of the diploma work was to create a logo for the company that will be durable, high quality, professional and aesthetic. In addition to the logo, the goal was to create a name that would live with the logo and give it meaning.
