This Master's thesis deals with the problem of the size of the gap between the charging system and surrounding car area. For the purposes of the Tolerance Analysis, we researched and built the Tolerance Stack on the charging system, which includes the main dimensions of different parts of the assembly, and their tolerances. The programme softwares for the Tolerance Analysis, based on the Worst-Case Method, the Root-Sum-Square Method and the Modified-Root-Sum-Square Method, were developed. Afterwards, the calculated values were compared to the measured values, which were previously collected by the Coordinate Measuring Machine. Lastly, the Measurement System Analysis was performed, exclusively for the quality and accurate measurement data purposes.
At the end, the research data concluded, that all of the Tolerance Range data (calculated according to the three Methods) was much higher than the data, collected by Coordinate Measuring Machine.
