The Master thesis is based on a cross-curricular approach with regard to the primary school curriculums of Slovene language and Geography. The cross-curricular approach focuses on the Literature of Slovene Emigrants in Argentina and proves to be an effective and complete approach of teaching. On the other hand, this approach allows teachers to successfully present different subject matters and relate them with one another, while on the other hand it is useful to pupils who develop skills and competences within their learning process. The theoretical part contains a short overview of Slovenian Emigrants Community in Argentina as well as the Literature of Slovene Emigrants in Argentina. The empirical part presents a cross-curriculum analysis of the Slovene language and Geography curriculum. Then, it explains the criteria to determine the type of literature works, which are appropriate for a cross-curricular approach between the two subjects, and selects five works from the Slovene Emigrant Literature. The purpose of the Master thesis is also applicative, as the chosen literary works were presented as part of a didactical analysis, including educational goals and teaching aids.
