In this Master´s thesis, we performed the optimization of injection molding process of a selected polyamide product. The aim of the optimization was to determine the effects of five processs parameters on the dimensional properties of the product and to shorten the cycle time while achieving dimensional tolerances. The theoretical foundations of the processs of injection molding of polymers, polymer materials and industrial experimentaion are presented. Additional emphasis is placed on determining the capability of the Measurement System. Optimization was performed using the Design of Experiments method. The results were analyzed using the ANOVA method. We determined the optimal settings of the selected process parameters and checked the adequacy of the results with an Confirmatory Experiment.
