Abstract
V diplomskem delu predstavljam sodobne rešitve na področju digitalnega oglaševanja, ki zajemajo programsko opremo za predvajanje digitalnih vsebin ter rešitve za merjenje občinstva. Predstavljena sta dva programa za digitalno oglaševanje, in sicer Kodi in Xibo. Predstavil sem namestitveni postopek, funkcionalnosti, način uporabe ter napravil primerjavo. Pri primerjavi sem se osredotočil na način in težavnost upravljanja, funkcije, prijaznost do uporabnika, ter zahteve glede strojne opreme. V drugem delu diplome pa sem predstavil program za merjenje občinstva Seemetrix, ki s pomočjo video kamere ocenjuje število gledalcev, njihovo starost, spol, emocije in čas pozornosti. Pri tem sem izvedel poskuse s programom in analiziral natančnost rezultatov. Ugotovil sem zanesljivost delovanja oziroma ocene parametrov pri različnih oddaljenostih gledalca v odvisnosti od tipa kamere in ločljivosti slike.

Title:Comparison of digital signage and audience measurement software packages
Abstract:
In this thesis I introduced two digital signage programs, Kodi and Xibo. I presented the installation process, configuration and usage. I compared their features, user-friendliness, and system requirements related to digital signage usage. In the second part of the thesis I introduced the audience measurement program Seemetrix, which captures the number of viewers, their age, gender, emotions, and attention time. I analyzed the accuracy of Seemetrix measurements with respect to the distance of the user in various setups with different cameras and image resolutions.
