Abstract
Diplomsko delo se nanaša na področje vrtalnih tehnologij, ki se danes uporabljajo po svetu. Proces, ki je predstavljen v delu, je ena izmed ključnih operacij pri izdelavi globokih vrtin. Na podlagi vrste izplake, ki je prilagojena posameznemu načinu vrtanja, se določi postopek njenega čiščenja. Namen dela je predstaviti proces čiščenja izplake pri globinskem vrtanju in dejavnike, ki na to vplivajo. Predstavljen je proces čiščenja izplake na vodni in naftni osnovi. Opisani so sistemi in naprave, potrebne za čiščenje izplak na vodni in naftni osnovi. Pri tem so bile predstavljena naprave, kot so vibracijska miza (Shale shaker), odstranjevalec plinov (degasser), odstranjevalec peska (Desander), odstranjevalec mulja (Desilter), centrifugalni dekanter (Decanter centrifuge), ter ostala oprema, potrebna za vzdrževanje izplake med čiščenjem. Da je mogoče izplako pravilno ali popolno očistiti, je treba periodično izvesti teste, ki so namenjeni pregledovanju reoloških značilnosti izplak. Cilj dela je predstaviti proces čiščenja izplake in naprave, ki so potrebne, da se lahko čiščenje le-te izvede.

Title:Mud treatment in deep drilling
Abstract:
This diploma about mud treatment in deep drilling, is directly linked with the field of drilling technologies which are nowadays commonly used all over the globe. Process which is being presented is one of the most important processes of deep drilling. Based on the mud that is being used for drilling it is possible to determinate which processes for mud treatment will be needed. The purpose of this diploma is to present the process of mud treatment in deep drilling while also considering factors that it depends on. Presented process of mud treatment is focused on water and oil-based muds. Also, besides the process, the solids control systems and equipment are being presented. When talking about solids control equipment all the cleaning devices that are usually used are presented. They are shale shaker, degasser, desander, desilter, decanter centrifuge. Also, there is some talk about other equipment needed for mud treatment. But to actually accurately treat muds you also need to perform all the different tests for testing all the rheological properties. Those are also of a great importance when deciding a proper way of treating a specific mud, which is why they are also presented a little bit. Thus, this diploma would like to present and show mud treatment needed in deep drilling.
