Every construction project is unique. Each project involves many participants who coordinate more or less related activities. The result and success of the project largely depend on the great and successful cooperation of all actors, and the charm lies in the fact that the project is never repeated under the same conditions. Good preparation, coordination and suitably qualified people are needed for the quality implementation of the project and especially the implementation within the deadline. Due to the high possibility of unforeseen events, it is necessary to have a well-prepared work plan before the start of the implementation, as this is the only way to resolve the situations that arise quickly and successfully. The diploma work first presents a project that I took part in as well. It is a reconstruction of a part of a road, the purpose of which is to improve flood safety and to arrange new municipal lines. On the basis of the obtained material - construction diary, contract estimate, book of accounting measurements and time plan % I presented the key details of the project in detail. In the following, I made an analysis from a cost and timeframe point of view. For the purposes of cost analysis, I compared the values of the contractual estimate with the final statement in Excel and showed and described all the deviations. For the purposes of time analysis, I compared the originally prepared plan, the rebalance of the plan and the actual course of work in the Microsoft Project program. The resulting delays and delays during construction have been described and explained in the cost analysis, where the causes of these are justified.
