Abstract
Diplomsko delo obravnava slovensko in špansko besedotvorje s sinhronega vidika, njuno primerjavo ter primerjavo španskih tvorjenk in njihovih ustreznic v slovenščini v slovensko-španski slikanici Družinska skrivnost (Secreto de Familia). Ugotovljene so bile določene vzporednice in razlike med besedotvornima sistemoma, ki so bile upoštevane v empiričnem delu. Z analizo španskih tvorjenk sem ugotavljala, v kolikšni meri se je pri prevodu v slovenščino ohranila ista besedotvorna vrsta, prav tako pa se je preverjala pogostost določenih besedotvornih vrst v izvornem jeziku.

Title:Comparison of complex words in the Slovene-Spanish picture book Family Secret (Secreto de Familia)
Abstract:
The thesis analyses Slovene and Spanish word formation from the synchronous point of view, their comparison and comparison of Spanish complex words and their equivalents in Slovene in the Slovene-Spanish picture book Family Secret (Secreto de Familia). Certain parallels and differences between word-formation systems were found, which were taken into account in the empirical part. By analysing Spanish complex words, I wanted to determine to what extent the same word-forming type was preserved when translated into Slovene. Also, the frequency of certain word-forming types in the source language was included.

Keywords:Slovene word formation, Spanish word formation, word-forming type, complex word
