Religious communities in the 21st century still have a strong presence all around the world. In a believer's life, religion has a function of determining his or her moral values and life's path. A religious person lives life based on specific religious rules. This usually doesn't change in the time of crisis, such as war or pandemic that is caused by a disease. In those difficult times, a person's beliefs are more likely to become stronger. The year 2020 has brought a new challenge to humanity in the form of virus sars-cov-2 pandemic, which has spread all over the world. The virus has caused big changes in people's lives, especially in the lives of religious communities. In hope of slowing down the virus, governments have issued new safety precautions that banned religious gatherings in the USA and Europe. For this reason, many Christian religious communities in the USA have rebelled against the government, while European Christians did not they kept the situation peaceful and mostly obeyed the governments' new rules. All the changes in social life had also brought a lot of innovations in practicing religious rituals. All the major religious communities had shown a lot of resourcefulness in inventing new ways to practice their sacred rituals. Alternative ways of practising religious rituals have also been accepted by Slovenian Christian religious communities who officially did not rebel against government's new safety regulations. Although there were some cases of failures to comply with new safety rules.
