By performing simulations in the phases of product design and development we save time, resources, materials and energy. In this final thesis, we discussed DSHplus simulation tool, created for detailed analysis of complex hydraulic components and systems. Hydraulic systems are often connected to a number of different subsystems and for the purpose of more accurate treatment, each is simulated in a simulation tool specialized for solving particular systems. In the final thesis the connectivity of DSHplus simulation tool with other simulation and program tools is presented in detail, with the focus on different kinds and ways of interconnections and execution of parallel simulation in several simulation programs, called co-simulation. The manner of communication, import and export of models and data transfer, enabled with communication interfaces is also described.
